Main Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, electrical code plans and specifications to determine the location of industrial electrical equipment.
• Install and run electrical wiring for new machinery such as motors, geared motors, temperature probes, "drive" installations, etc.
• Pass the power and control cables through "electrical trays".
• Install, check, replace and repair outlets, switch boxes, conduits, arteries, fiber optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and any other component.
• Perform tests on electrical and electronic materials and components to verify continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Maintain, repair, install and test power disconnectors, transformers, distribution panel meters, regulators, electric motors, generators, and industrial storage batteries.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance programs and keep records up to date rigorously monitoring electrical equipment condition.
