Main Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret welding drawings or instructions.
  • Perform welding work according to the process requested by customers.
  • Assemble mechanically welded parts.
  • Use manual or semi-automatic devices to weld metal parts.
  • Use metal forming machines, such as bending presses and shears, as well as other machines used to straighten and bend metals.
  • Repair worn parts of metal products by welding additional layers to them.
  • Participate in the maintenance and repair of industrial machines.
Required Skills
  • Professional diploma (DEP) in welding-assembly or welding-mounting,
  • 2 years of experience as a welder,
  • Have good analytical skills,
  • Versatile and proactive,
  • Good ability to plan,
  • Meticulous,
  • Openness and flexibility,
  • Demonstrate professionalism,
  • Ability to work in a team,
  • Have rigor at work and be innovative,
  • Mechanical aptitude (an asset).
